Industrial Rope Access also known as “industrial abseiling” is a form of work positioning initially developed from climbing techniques. These techniques allow workers to access difficult to reach locations on structures such as high rise city buildings, stadiums, towers and bridges without the need for scaffolds or cranes. Our industrial abseilers are experts in high rise window cleaning, building maintenance and  facade inspection works.

TRA staff, are trained in the use of more conventional access methods such as the operation of BMU’s (Building Maintenance Units). TRA will also co-ordinate the construction of swinging stages and scaffolding units when large scale facade repair projects exceed the capability and practicality of using BMU’s or rope access.
